If Einstein Worked at Aperture Science he might have said…

“Portals will take you from A to B. Portals will take you everywhere.”

“Science without portals is lame. Testing without sadistic AI is blind.”

“People love making portals. In this activity one immediately sees results.”

“Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them with portals.”

“Only two things are infinite, the universe and GLaDOS’s sarcasm, and I’m not sure about the former.”

“If people are good only because they fear GLaDOS, and hope for cake, then we are a sorry lot indeed.”

“When the solution is simple, You’re thinking with portals.”

“Intellectuals solve test chambers, geniuses create them”

“A turret, a companion cube, a slice of cake and a portal gun; what else does a man need to be happy?”

“The important thing is not to stop testing.”

“I never think of the cake, it comes soon enough.”

“Insanity: Going through the same portal over and over again and expecting different results.”

“At any rate, I am convinced that She [GLaDOS] does not play dice.”

“The difference between human test subjects and GLaDOS is; humans have limits.”

“Cake is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

“I never made one of my test chambers through the process of rational thinking.”

“Intelligence is not the ability to create portals, but to know where to create them.”

“If I could do it all again, I’d have worked for Black Mesa.”

  1. Brilliant page!

Oh, and here’s another one I just thought of:

“The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears… except for the ones who are dead.”

  2. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message
home a little bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog.

An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
